Poptart nail designs?

Hii! Rebecca online, postponing homework that doesn't even really exist. :) So, moving along, while on Adventures in Acetone, I saw how she had nails that were, I say similar, though it was more like "you can see it if you squint..." sort of similarity, but I digress. Basically, it was a nail challenge about your child's favorite food (her daughter's happened to be Poptarts), and I noticed how her nails were generally similar-ish (or at least vaguely reminded me of mine, actually took me a while to realize who I was being reminded of though) to mine, based on that it was white with rainbow-y speckles on it, and it also linked to another person who did them too! Great minds think alike, huh? So, if you feel like it, you can see her post here. That was sort of it...Bye!!

See the similarity?? Huh?? huh??

I've Got Summer Fever!

Hey y'all. It's Kate, and after a recent Skype session I just had, I got infected with MAJOR summer fever! Saying as if we have only 39 days until school ends (and 51 until ACTUAL summer starts) I can't sit still. The thought of the beach, the pool, swimsuits, sun, hotness, ice cream, all that good stuff, makes me sooo excited! So I've got a challenge for you, blog updaters. Make your best summer theme nail design, and post it on here! We'll have the other blog updaters and followers choose the best design over the course of the next 39 days. You can enter 5 times. Good luck!

Pink-a-Boo and Set in Stones

Hey guys Grace here!
I used Essie Luxeffects Set in Stones and Essie Pink-a-Boo. Its kind of hard to see Pink-a-Boo because it is a really soft shimery pink, but if you do like 4 coats it shows up well (I only did 2 in the photo). I also like set in stones because the glitter is in all different sizes :)

New Polishes and New Nails!!

Cherry Red

Blue Me away!
Hi! It's Kate, and yesterday I was at Walgreens and got new nail polishes. They are Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear. The blue one is called Blue Me Away! And the red one is Cherry Red. They both apply very nicely, and look really good with topcoat! I also painted my nails with Blue Me Away! Last night, and I love it! I'm gonna paint some white clouds and a little silver on them!

My Poor Thumb...A Tale

I'm holding a bucket!!
Rebecca here! Well, in honor of the dance coming up, I did glittery nails (like Kate did), mainly because I didn't have neon. So, being the nail polish amateur that I am, I had a lot of difficulty, and I murdered a little bit of my nail. Nothing awful, but now I'm sad. The End. Was that even a story? Who knows. So, I used Petites French White, then added a little bit of OPI Rainbow in the S-Kylie, and on the other Ice Busted (the nail that I murdered). I also realized that I'm even worse at taking pictures! I didn't really have a camera at hand, so I used iPhoto, and I promptly died. So don't be alarmed if I don't show up tomorrow, just say I died. Also, I have no idea what's wrong with my thumbs.

Polish Bucket + New Nails

Hi! It's Kate! I've got a pic of my beloved nail polish bucket, and my new sparkly nails!

NAILS WHAT I USED:
Beauty Secrets Base Coat
2 coats of OPI Black Onyx
2 coats of Sinful Colors Frenzy
1 coat of Sally Hansen Complete Manicure Clear'd For Takeoff!

Here's my nails! I just love glitter over black!

My Love!
I got my adorable bucket at The Container Store (we went for hangers, came out with a filing cabinet in floral print, a bucket, organizing containers, wrapping paper, purple ribbons, purple bow, and sour spray:) for really cheap, so I recommend going there for sensible and cute nail polish storers (if you want one)!

Soft Blue, Beach PInk, Cute as a Button, Black Onyx... So Many Colors, So Little Time!

This one is using Essie Cute as a Button (the pink, orangey one.)  And Black Onyx too!
Hey! It's Kate here, and I've got new nail designs! I'm gonna change them on Friday, because it's our neon themed dance! (Ya, anyone got cool neon ideas?) So this is just for a filler. I can't STAND bare nails! My Soft Blue color is a turquoise-y blue color that applies really well. It's nice to have the thin decorating brush so you can get to the WAYY edges of your nails. Beach Pink is a hot pink, bright nail design color. If you put it on with a darker base, you have to do many layers, which is a minus. But it's still one of my faves!

Cute as a Button is a Salmon-like color by Essie. It applies really nicely and evenly. And, if you just use a base coat, you don't even need a topcoat! It's just that shiny already! OPI's Black Onyx is really shiny, you don't even need base coat! And the awesome thing is, it doesn't stain your nails (Some of my darker polishes do...)! As you can see in my horrible picture (again, not a good photographer) it's shiny without top or base coat... That's all for now!

WHAT I USED:
1 coat of Beauty Secrets Base Coat (I would shorten it, but the abbreviation is just not right)
2 coats of Soft Blue
3 coats of Beach Pink
1 coat of Doll'd up Nails Topcoat

2 coats of Cute as a Button
1 coat of Black Onyx (that's how thick and shiny it is!)
I decorated this one with my Soft Blue Kiss Nail Art bottle, and then designs were made with Beach Pink (Again, Kiss Nail Art). I'm holding my OPI Black Onyx bottle, which is smooth and shiny!

Hey!!!

Hey everyone, it's Elizabeth! I don't have my nails painted with anything very interesting right now but I'm opened to suggestions... I am going to paint them neon and awesome for the upcoming dance so watch out for that! I have tons of nail polish and paint my nails a lot sooooo yeah. If you have any questions please ask, and follow us!!

At School!

This is me (Claudia) and Kate at school!!!!!!!!!!!

Ideas??

Hey there! This for the Creators of this Blog, and for our followers too! So, while sitting bored in my house, I was thinking up ideas. Rebecca, how about Harry Potter nails? Black base, thunder bolts, deathly hallows symbol, Gryfindor Stripes,  the whole nine yards? And I give you glitter for that "glow" effect. Anyone/everyone else: Beach theme (palm trees, birds, and sunsets) Hunger Games Theme (Covers of the books) Summer Theme (lemonade, beaches, swimsuits) and Deck of Cards Theme (white base, then just draw on hearts, spades, clubs, and numbers). Whaddya think? I thought they were pretty clever, if I do say so myself!

Hello! Random little tale...

Hiya! It's dear beloved me (Rebecca)! Anyways, the reason I'm posting is I have a short little story to satisfy your hungry little self with the posts (I will not be constantly painting my nails; a nail design I made in January just peeled off) ...so here it is! A little while ago, while at the evil little place called a mall (scarred me for life with all the people), I went and spent a lot more money than I had to on some nail art pens, which I'm dying to try out! I mean, it's drawing on your nails! Anywho, I'm thinking about trying some random scenes on them (I only have pink, silver, black, and white, but I could borrow some colors or whatnot, I'm not a dedicated nail person)..maybe a city view, or a sunset? I don't know...oh well! As a certain someone would say: "Gotta jam, homeslice!"

Strawberry Nails!

Sorry it's a bad picture! I'm a not good photographer!
Hi! It's Kate, and I've got strawberry nails for you! Here!

1 coat of Beauty Secrets Basecoat
